Welcome to 3 Coles! Our teachers are Miss Roffe, Mrs Bhardwaj, Mrs Rehman and Mrs Evans-Matthews teaches us on Mondays. We are named after the inspirational mountaineer Rebecca Coles who is an International Mountain Leader and professional expedition leader. She has led expeditions on all seven continents including leading teams in Afghanistan and up to 7000m in the Greater Range.

We are all Greenmountaineers which means we will aim high and develop excellent communication skills whilst being motivated learners. We will use our research skills to learn about people and places around our world, from the past and present.

We have lots of exciting challenges ahead in Maths where we will tackle our times tables and numbers up to 1000. English will expose us to a range of new texts, using them as inspiration for our own writing. In Science, we will learn about shadows, rocks and soils, forces and magnets, plants and the human skeleton. We will study volcanoes and rivers in Geography and the Stone Age, Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece in History. We will also get to perform in our class assembly and invite our parents in to be our audience!
